About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting & Supply Chain to lead and oversee the financial accounting operations, treasury, consumer lending, risk, and supply chain management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting, driving efficiencies, and strategic initiatives within the supply chain. This role requires close collaboration with the CFO and executive leadership to support business growth, optimize operational costs, and enhance financial performance. Key responsibilities include financial reporting and compliance, treasury and consumer lending management, risk evaluation and mitigation, strategic financial leadership, and supply chain strategy and operations. Candidates for the VP of Accounting & Supply Chain position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a preference for additional education in supply chain management, and a CPA certification. A minimum of 10 years' finance and accounting experience, including previous Big 4 public accounting and SEC reporting experience, is required, along with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP, and strong technical accounting and research skills. A deep understanding of supply chain principles, particularly in procurement and inventory management, is preferred. The role demands excellent project management abilities, effective communication, executive presence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership, relationship management experience, and a high attention to detail with strong analytical skills are also essential.
