Shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish We are seeking a highly motivated Marine Structural Engineer to join our team in New York. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Apply broad and deep knowledge in structural engineering and marine infrastructure projects.
- Perform tasks in the field of structural analysis and design; including but not limited to reinforced and pre-stressed concrete design, steel design and timber design; deep foundations; gravity-based foundations; earth retaining structures, etc.
- Implement design best practices and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Perform and review calculations for analysis purposes.
- Prepare construction documents and oversee construction administration activities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare observation reports, and generate written documents within project timelines and budgets.

On top of that, you will have:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master of Science (MS) degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of prior project-based engineering experience, focusing on waterfront and coastal design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one.
- The ability to be self-directed and skilled at attending to multiple responsibilities in a brisk environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel, especially for fieldwork in the New York City area.

Base compensation: $80,000 to $105,000 for New York location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location
